Tutankhamun Murder
Composite image combining the gold Mask of Tutankhamun and a forensic reconstruction of Tutankhamun's head.

An exciting investigative exhibition into the mysterious death of Egypt¹s most famous pharaoh, Tutankhamun. Arranged as a crime incident room, displays include forensic exhibits and evidence. Of special interest are two unique exhibits - a forensic reconstruction of the head of Tutankhamun, based on a computer generated portrait by Dr Robin Richards, of the University of London. The head was specially commissioned for a major television documentary by award winning film makers Atlantic Productions.

The second is a unique facsimile of Tutankkhamun¹s unwrapped mummy.

Tutankhamun - Behind the Mask is an examination into the mysterious demise of Tutankhamun as if it were a contemporary unexplained death. Visitors are encouraged to examine for themselves statements from international expert witnesses including Egyptologists, forensic scientists and pathologists together with forensic exhibits and evidence, x-rays, and even possible murder weapons.
