Tutankhamun Comes to Television

ITV's latest drama retells the true story of Howard Carter his life and his journey until his eventual discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun. There is an all star cast featuring Max Irons as Howard Carter, Sam Neill as Lord Carnarvon, Catherine Steadman and Jonathan Aris. The drama charts the highs and lows of Carter's time in Egypt, his frienship with Lord Carnavon - his financial backer, and his great achievement of the discovery of Tutankhamun's undisturbed tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

It is thought the drama, written by Guy Burt, will show on ITV this Autumn.
